WB64 DIGITAL, THE NEW AUDIO REFERENCE FOR EDUCATIONAL AND MORE!
For the creation of the new Empire WB-64, we started from a well-established project: the semi-professional studio monitors Empire S-500. The cabinet of the WB-64 is made of MDF wood and retains the same dimensions as the S-500 but is lighter to allow for easier wall or ceiling placement. This audio system is designed to meet the needs of setting up classrooms, meeting rooms, demo rooms, rooms with sound diffusion, as well as for bars, restaurants, hotels, and all those places where high-quality distributed sound is required.
To provide greater robustness to the product, the fabric front grilles are fixed and not removable, unlike other 2.0 Empire audio systems. This ensures that the drivers are not exposed and consequently avoids potential damage.
Both the woofers and tweeters have a wide range, and along with the proper tuning with their respective cabinets, the Empire WB-64 can reproduce faithful and broad-spectrum sound, resulting in perfect sound diffusion.
The WB-64 is a two-way system: the 4” reinforced coil woofers deliver deep bass and clean and well-defined low-mids, while the 1” tweeters reproduce crystal-clear and very smooth sound, providing overall homogeneity.
The new Class D amplifier could deliver higher power, but to optimize the system and its longevity, it has been “limited” to deliver 64 total watts with THD 10%, 1 KHz.
Two separate stereo inputs allow you to connect two different audio sources. Typically, in classrooms, the IWB (or a multimedia monitor) is connected to LINE1, while LINE2 is used to connect a device as needed by the teacher (e.g., tablet, PC, laptop/Mac, smartphone, etc.).
The control panel (On/Off, Volume, Bass, Treble) and connections are positioned on the side, allowing the speakers to be wall-mounted without issues. This way, everything is always within reach without the need to remove the speaker from the wall.
